English Program offers the following skills for ages 4 to highschool.

Communication

helps develop conversational skills through reading, sharing ideas, discussions.

Critical Thinking

is stimulated through open-ended questions, questioning one’s own and other’s assumptions, seeking diverse perspectives.

Study skills

are encouraged using strategies such as time-management, active listening skills, note taking, using technology.

Reading Skills

Choose interest-based material to read, preview the text, engage in the content by asking questions, giving answers, predicting, read aloud.

Writing Skills

is promoted through everyday record of activities in a few sentences, using new vocabulary, brain storming.

Math Program offers the following skills for Ages 4 to 7

  1. Understand basic concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as essential skills for everyday activities such as shopping, home improvement, managing finances etc.
  2. Develop problem-solving skills using logic and reasoning strategies. Whether you are calculating a budget, or solving real world issues, math helps you examine things systematically and logically.
  3. Science and Technology is based on of mathematical language. Physics, chemistry, engineering all require thorough comprehension of mathematical concepts to succeed.
  4. Career Opportunities are endless with a strong understanding of math concepts ‘for careers such as engineering, scientist, data analyst or a creative field like architecture or design.
  5. Personal Growth is positively affected with the comprehension of mathematical concepts. Math boosts one’s confidence and fosters perseverance and resilience.

Special Math Program for Preschoolers and Kindergartners ages 4 to 7

Introduction to math ideas through play-based learning. This program helps prepare children for their academic school experiences.

This program enables young minds to see the mathematical concepts and ideas in the world around them which helps them connect their learning with the real world.

SMP helps children with:

  1. Number Perception which means understanding numbers and their relations.
  2. Motor Skills which involve using both fine and gross motor abilities
  3. Observation skills which entail being focused and critical.
  4. Creative Thinking which means “thinking outside the box.”
  5. Improving IQ using concepts  such as spatial intelligence, mapping events, probability and more.

Most importantly, SMP helps children learn not to fear mathematics. As a result, more career  opportunities are available to them in life since math is every where around us. So, let MiPal help your child embrace Maths at an early age.

Along with the above, I strive to instill other habits and abilities within my students that are vital to succeed in any society such as Creativity, Leadership, Teamwork, Adaptability, Goal Setting and Time Management.

Advantages
